I am organizing a Cannon Ball run for next summer, June/July Time frame. I am in the process of making a contract with a video/media company for video/DVD sales, and working with Red Bull and Vision Entertainment (Hot Import Nights) for a sponsorship. A website will be up within a month describing the details. There will be a minimum sign-up of 200 teams. The Run takes place from New York City to Las Vegas, with multiple stops along the way. Cities stopped at will include Chicago, Houston, St.Louis, and many others. The entry fee will be $5000.00 with a $500.00 security deposit. Teams are treated to some of the top hotels in each of the cities stopped at, a Jacket from the event, and a key chain. The prizes will be as follows. First Place
$100,000.00 Second Place
$80,000.00 Third Place
$40,000.00 Fourth Place
$20,000 Fifth Place
$10,000 6th through 15th place will get lesser prizes still to be determined. There will also be a drawing for a New Track Edition 350Z that any entrant can possibly win.
Like I said, there will be a website up with all the details shortly, and I will keep you all updated. I am looking for people that would be interested in being "Pit Crew" basically people that would help with Team Logging in each city/check point. Right now definite cities will be New York, Chicago, Houston, St.Louis, and Las Vegas.
